Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Update: January 2025 Stipend Eligibility Criteria

BISP officials have recently announced a crucial update regarding the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif eligibility criteria which will be disbursed in January 2025.

There will be three categories of children who will not receive Benazir Taleemi Wazaif stipend. Parents should take immediate note of these categories to avoid any kind of inconvenience later.

Here are the three types of children who will not receive the stipend:

1. Children with Zero Attendance

If a child has not attended school at all, he/she will not be eligible for the stipend. This rule emphasizes the importance of consistent school attendance, which directly impacts the eligibility for the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif.

2. Children with School Attendance Below 70%

Children who attend less than 70% of school days in the year will not receive the financial assistance. Parents must monitor their children’s school attendance closely and address any attendance issues to avoid missing out on this support.

3. Children with Outdated BISP Record

If a child’s grade or school has changed, but the information has not been updated in the BISP database, they will not receive the stipend. To prevent this, parents must ensure that their child’s records are up to date by visiting the nearest BISP tehsil office and submitting any required updates.

Important Note: The school attendance verification survey will continue until December 2024. Parents should take action as soon as possible to ensure their children are properly registered and their attendance records are accurate. If you submit timely details to BISP, it will help you avoid any interruptions in receiving the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif stipend.
