Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Stipend Delayed | Latest News 2024
The Benazir Income Support Program has announced a delay in the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif stipend release for the last quarter of 2024. These payments were initially scheduled for December 2024. However, now the Taleemi Wazifa will be paid in January 2025.
Reason Behind the Delay in Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Stipend
The Benazir Taleemi Wazaif payments are released on the condition that the registered students attend school regularly. The Government carries out a comprehensive survey by checking the school attendance records of every registered students. This verification process is carried out three times in a year to release the quarterly payments.Â
Here is why the payments were delayed in the last quarter of 2024:
- The schools were closed in June and July during the summer vacations and all students were on summer leave. Therefore, the attendance verification could not be done during these months.
- The students rejoined schools in August after the summer vacations finished. So, the attendance verification survey started in October and will continue till December to ensure regular attendance during the last 3 months of the year.
When Will the Delayed Payments Be Released?
The Taleemi Wazaif payments for the last quarter of 2024 will be released in January 2025. Families are encouraged to remain patient while the BISP school survey October 2024 process is finalized.
Eligible families will only receive their Benazir Kafalat Program dues in the current payment cycle.
Good News for Grade 5 Girls
Girls who successfully completed grade 5 this year (2024) will also receive a Rs. 3,000 bonus in January 2025.
This bonus payment will be made along with the scheduled Taleemi Wazaif stipened that was delayed from December 2024 to January 2025.
