What is Benazir Nashonuma Program?

The Benazir Nashonuma Program was launched in 2020 by the Government of Pakistan as part of Benazir Income Support Program and Benazir Ehsaas Program. It aims at improving child health and nutrition, particularly during the first two years of a child’s life because these are important years for growth.

The amount of these cash payments is:

Who is Eligible for Benazir Nashonuma Program?

Benazir Nashonuma program is for those pregnant and lactating women who are registered with the Benazir Income Support Program.

Here is the eligibility criteria:

Pregnant and lactating women of low-income families who are registered with the Benazir Income Support Program.
Children under 2 years of age whose mothers are registered with the Benazir Income Support Program.
